Hi, I'm Maribel Moreland, Owner of More Memories Travel!

As an avid traveler myself, I know the confusion and stress that can come from planning a trip, especially when traveling someplace new. I understand that we can’t all afford expensive vacations, so my goal is to help my clients get a great vacation that is within their budget.

There are a lot of “offers” out there and a lot of different vendors. I do all the work to research and book your travel, finding you the best solutions for your desired trip at the lowest cost.

I help people plan their dream vacations. As a traveler myself, I understand how important it is to get the best value for your hard-earned money, and yet be able to have the best vacation possible. I also love helping my clients by sharing tips and personal experiences from my own travels.

People say I’m a good listener, obsessive organizer, and hard worker. I think these are good qualities to have as a travel agent, because they mean I truly care about others and want to help them have the trips they want. It also means I go the extra mile to make sure my clients are satisfied. My husband says I’m stubborn, but that’s a good thing because I do not give up easily!

Because my work travels with me, I am able to work from anywhere. I am a travel agent through Inteletravel (Intelligent Travel), which gives me access to exclusive pricing and experiences that people can’t get when planning their own trips.

I grew up in a family that never traveled. We lived our lives inside a very small area, and if something wasn’t located within a three-mile radius, it was too far away and they didn’t want to go. Growing up in that small area just made me want to get out of it and experience more.

My mom is my biggest inspiration. She’s such a hard work and doesn’t give up anything she sets out to do. There isn’t anything that she won’t tackle. She is only 5’1″ and I am 5’7″, and no one can believe that I am her daughter.

I am a socialite, so I like to spend time with my friends. I seldom say no to a gathering. My son plays in a band. He’s usually playing at a sports bar or a restaurant, so I like to support him by going to watch him play. I also have a niece and a nephew who I go out of my way for to make them feel special.

For my day job, I work at a credit union, where I promote their services across the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

In my free time, I love to scrapbook. I have been scrapbooking for 17 years. I started a scrapbooking group where my girlfriends and I meet once a month and scrapbook together, and share stories and ideas. We’ve been doing it for 17 years and counting. I still have 2 girls who have been with me since the beginning. I have a collection of scrapbooks in my office. They are in date order so basically they’re an encyclopedia of my life, my history, and those in my circle.

I’d almost always rather be on a cruise or on the beach, which is why I’m so passionate about the work I do. Travel is the best way to relax and have fun at the same time, and I’m all about helping more people realize the trips of their dreams. Why Work With A Travel Agent

A lot of people I work with think that hiring a travel agent costs them money. They think it’s better to go online and book their own trips.

The problem with booking online is that if something goes wrong on their trip, people can’t call online booking places for help. They’re on their own.

As a travel agent, my commission is built into the trip. That means my clients do not have to pay extra to use my services.
